44 International Photography Festivals

We have been mentioned in the European Photography Magazine web site as “a new festival not yet listed in our recent survey”. Though it adds to the pressure and responsibility of organising a great International event, critically curated, it is nevertheless a great moral push.

Did you know that there are more than 44 International Photography Festivals worldwide? Is there a reason why? Why is a Photographic Festival so important? Perhaps you can comment underneath and let us know what do you think.

    I am a photographer /visual Artist , I really want to participate get involved do whatever I can. I live in Dublin , I agree Ireland needs a photographic festival.
    I studied photography in Sallynoggin and DLIADT . I am busy shooting weddings at the moment and photographing familes . I would really like to show some work from my Travels eg. Machu Pichu , Burning Man festival etc. How can I help ? and Get involved ?
